Dinner was so delious at the St. Regis. My guest had driven from Escondido and loves the finer things life has to offer. The wine was excellent, but the tiny little ice cream cones were a reminder that nothing in California belongs to the natives. This prime property has been gobbled up by foreign investors. The St. Regis is no different. Before going into foeclosure, it was rumored that the funds were stolen funds from the Syrian people. President Bush was the offical ribbon cutter. On day the Hotel celebrated it's opening day.
Hotel has been purchased by another foreign investor and has under gone a face lift. The small little servings and tiny little wrapped ice cream in their tiny little cones, leads one to believe that the Hotel must have been purchased by an Asian investor.
