Gettig Your Car Repaired and it's a little worse than expected

Taking my car into the repair shop. I was prepared to have a $500.00 bill, but $850.00 ##%28" OMG! So if any one has any ideas on what I should do, brakes and rowters, isn't that a lot? I think so too. Today I have been filling out applications for employment. So I am going to raise money by selling my things that I have been collecting over the years. Oh yeah, my washing machine broke and I have to go to the laundry mat. My last adventure to the mat left me stuck there for hours. My car was parked in the parking  lot. as I was loading  my  wet laundry into the car(my dryer works fine), a routine traffic ticket was in progress. The lights were blinking, the driver pulled into a spot, but would not open his car. Soon there were 15 police cars surrounding this guy. Then the helicoptor was whirling about. What was this guy? The exit was blocked and I couldn't get out. Soon there were many spectators, curious, why such a big deal? Watching for 35 minutes or more, guns pulled, police behind cars, crap now my car gonna get rippled with bullets. I love my car!
Over  the load speaker the driver was given a warning to get out or what? A police officer came from behind the car ,raised a cannon type gun and aimed it at the back of this guys head. I over reacted a scream "DON"T Kill the Guy," I don't know what got into me besides fear that I was about to see this guys brains blowout. Well that got me into trouble with the police officer. He said if I didn't "shut up" he would arrest me. Either way, it was not in my normal comfort zone of doing the laundry in my own space.
He  aimed  and fired. He was trying to break the window, bullet proof I guess. They were firing big bean bag like pellets that were designed to beat againt the glass and break it. That didn't  work, so they took a raming rod and broke the passenger window. The drivers door craked open and two tiny hands slowly creeped up,  he  stood up and got out. He was intoxicated, I felt bad for him. He was so frail and scared. The police gathered him into there unit, and a German Shepard jumped into the passenger seat and started all over the inside of the car, then jumped out. So if it's that much drama to do my laundry, what would it be like on public transportation? So I have really so many things that I can selll so I can get my life back to the simple Life! for one my wedding ring and that will be a good start.
